Today we celebrate nine years of marriage.
It has been fabulous.

Things have changed, he still thinks that getting ready in ten minutes is more like twenty minutes for me, but now it has changed to five minutes - and it is amazing.
We still sometimes argue - and it is still about dumb stuff - but now it makes us laugh, and we are less stubborn towards each other.
It still feels like yesterday that I moved to the United States on a grand adventure, I met this guy, and I was trying really hard not to like him....

and also well his last name was "Cook" and I kind of thought it was silly - but he won me over...
and here we are all these years later...
with our to sweet kiddos to sweeten the deal.
We are so different in so many ways - but luckily similar in the things that really matter to us, like marriage, love, family, parenting and where we want to be in 10 years.
Nine years ago we walked down the skinny aisle of a tiny little rock chapel, hand in hand - gigantic dream in tow.
Most them have come true...
These two I can't imagine live without them.
We have traveled to so many places together as a family, sometimes it is hard to remember them all.
Here is just a few (I have like hundreds of thousands of pictures) so these were easy to find.

But my all time favorite adventure - anniversary one - me and this guy - two weeks - italy - backpacking (well more like rolling suitcase - bahahaha - we learned from this mistake) - way to much Italian wine in Rome, and old school low quality selfies. Yes, please!
*** These pictures couldn't blow up any bigger - lol!

We have improved our travel game quiet a bit since then.
Growing our family has not stopped of from traveling one bit - our adventures just change, and the wine consumption decreased to accommodate ice cream - but I am so ok with that!
I don't doubt that a few curve balls will be thrown our way in the years to come (hell, we are being thrown with one right now) and I'll never claim to be any expert on any one this, because heaven knows we still have so very much to learn when it comes to married life. But there is no one else I would rather spend this adventure with.

As we celebrate nine years of being married today, I just want to publicly express my sappy crazy feelings for the man in my life, because I still think he is super awesome, and I absolutely love being married to him, and I also kind of sort of love that my last name is "Cook" now, which my eighteen year old self would be shocked at.
Happy nine years Nate, thank you for adventuring through life with me.
xXx
