Kitchen Messes

We stay home more then not - I am a homebody even thought I enjoy the occasional outing to Target or the grocery store.  We live in the middle of nowhere so traveling has been difficult - also buying a house tend to do that.

I love baking and cooking and really anything that happens in the kitchen, it is one of my favourite rooms in the house, and there is something calming about kneading some dough or stirring soup while it simmers.

I try to get the kids involved a little bit at the time, but this is tends to be my escape so it doesn't happen as often as it should.

We set an afternoon aside to bake some cookies - we got this from Pampered Chef a while back and we decided it was time to use,

The excitement factor was so high....

The kids loved it so much and the cookies turned out pretty cute.

I definitely need to work on getting them in the kitchen more, and to make sure to wear my patient hat.


Christmas time is here, and we will decking out the house with our favourite Christmas things - this year we have our own stuff in our own house - it is wonderful!!
