Family Pictures

Our family pictures were a success.  It is also the first time in the history of taking family pictures that everyone was ready and dress thirty minutes before we had to leave.  I call that I miracle.

We had a ton of fun taking pictures - mostly pictures of the kids, and a few family pictures.  Ian and Hayleigh loved every single minute of it.

We venture out to a little junk yard in town, I love old stuff, and if it is covered and rustic - even better.

Rhea handle my kids like a pro, and I was very impressed with how calm and sweet she was with the kids, when they wanted to go in a thousand different directions.

I have a lot of people tell me, your life is so perfect.  Well thought my life is really beautiful it is far from perfect - we chose to capture the beauty and sharing it.  We have a fare share of drama and issues, and if only the gravity of living in small town could be understood.  We have face more drama, heartache, and sadness leaving Germany and moving here then imaginable. It is quite bizarre - not all of it is internet worthy or really worth sharing since it will only feed the problem - so I chose to rise above - and to share the beauty.  Because in the end that is what inspires me to keep going.

Here we are.  This is us. We love each other fiercely.  We love to stay home (that doesn't mean we are hiding or depressed,) we love everything family and prefer to do everything together, we are super close, we love to read, we love to build puzzles, we love to dance to end credit song of the movie "Home," we are creative at heart, and we try our best to avoid drama.

I will leave you with the latest family pictures - capturing our family as we are....

The kids were so awesome - I am so happy to have a year with more pictures of them.  They had so much fun, and oh my gosh, I might be bias - but they are BEAUTIFUL! I have no idea how I got so lucky to be their mom.

Finally the couple that we got with all of us in - in good old West Texas fashion it was super windy... excuse the hair!

I hope you love them as much as we do!!

Happy Thursday!
