I love how easy and laid back they are - no stress! It is amazing - my type of house guest.
We had a fun weekend - filled with birthday celebrations.
We headed out early Saturday morning to go to the farmers market. It is a really small market, but in my opinion it is better then nothing at all - it has also grown tremendously since we first started going last year.
The location is perfect, and it is just such a fun little outing. My kids love to go, and I love to show them all the different vegetables and food choices out there.
Saturday was also Hayleigh's actual birthday but we celebrated a day early since Nate had to work on Saturday. I still can't believe my baby is three.
Sunday we celebrated my birthday - it was so special since my parents where here to celebrate with me. We had a lovely lazy day - I got the day of from cooking and dishes. My parents cooked one of my favourite meals, I was spoiled with beautiful gifts, I got to talk to my brother and both my grandma's and I even got to take a wonderful and long afternoon nap.
Oh, and it was the first time in a a few years that I had my own fresh cake for my birthday. Usually we just eat Hayleigh's leftover cake - sad fact I know. I was so excited :)

The kids are having a blast with my parents - we are all going to be so sad when they leave, I try not to think about it. I wish they lived closer - it would be so nice for the kids to spend time with them, and for Nate and I to go on the occasional date.
My parents took the kids - well actually the kids took my parents to the duck pond this morning - that is one of our favourite spots in town - since there is not really anything else here to do.
Nate is starting some college classes today - so I went to Odessa with him to go pick up his text books, and we decided to go on a little impromptu lunch date, since the kids where preoccupied with my parents, It was a nice little break.
I came home to these sweet pictures, and beautiful memories made. My kids are lucky!!
Happy Monday!
