Things I Loved In The Last Week

It has been a good and encouraging week, seeing lots of progress, and glimpse of our little future here in our own environment, and everything life has to offer.  All I can say is, I am excited, and I am ready to start this chapter.

There were several little things that I loved about last week, besides the fact that Nate's new schedule is completely awesome, yes for one day of work and two days off to play.

#1 Cold but sunny afternoon reading, with hot chocolate.

#2 A goofy little four year old boy, who has my heart.

#3 This response to the question, "show me how happy you are?" Also her eyes slays me every single time.  My little beauty.

#4 Introducing Neil's Yard Remedies.  All i can say is I am in love, and I am hooked, and my face and skin has never felt better.

#5 Finally being able to tape the bedrooms, to start painting.  I have been waiting for this moment for a long time.

#6 The contagious excitement, to transform a simple bedroom.

#7 The smell of fresh paint.

#8 Sweet little helpers.  I love that we get to make our home together as a family.  It makes it all the more special.

#9 Seeing the beginning glimpses of the transformation of Ian's bedroom.
He picked the color.

#10 The color and word "Bridal Bouquet" makes me extremely happy.

#10 Seeing the beginning glimpses of the transformation of  Hayleigh's bedroom.
She picked the color.

#11 The fact that all of our household goods have been delivered from the military storage unit.

It is getting more and more exciting and real every day.  I love to see the transformation, now that we can start building things up and putting new things in, instead of constantly having to strip everything down.

We finished painting all the bedroom walls (I don't have a after picture of our room it was getting dark, and we painted by spot light), we hung all the bedroom and closet doors, and painted the window sills.

The carpets has been laid, wahoo, and it looks beautiful. We only have a handful of other bedroom related tasks and the rooms will be done.

Our sweet friend Mike E, has started on the kitchen cabinets, and all I can say is I am so excited to see what he makes, he is an incredibly talented, and I see this as a form of art, and I am so excited to have some of his talent in our house.  He is has been a giant blessing to us.

We are halfway there, at least that is what I keep telling myself!

Happy Tuesday!
