It's that time of the year again. Family pictures, I love family pictures - it is one of my favourite things - well pictures capturing life, my kids, and our family makes me heart so happy.
We generally do it every November (you can see last years pictures here) - it has two purposes 1) it's in one year increments and 2) we have something fun to put on our Christmas cards. About those - this year we will have a virtual one - sorry about - I am settling for simple till we get in our own house. Oh and South African friends and family - you won't get it till next year anyways thanks to your wonderful postal service who have been on strike for six months and now have to get caught up.
Anyway back to the story. I was at a lost over here who will take our pictures, and not charge an arm and a leg - I mean we are in a huge life transition. My sweet friend Kilah from church came to our rescue. She did such a great job in capturing our little family, especially during this harder then we thought it would be transition. So thank you KIlah, I will always look back at these pictures and treasure this learning and growing experience.
This kids did surprisingly great - thank you to our sweet friends the gummi worms, it is completely acceptable to bribe your children during family pictures, and I learned this from my friend Jessica who took our pictures last year.
It was a beautiful and sunny West Texas morning, and we had a blast. It was fun, and we laughed a lot. That makes for great pictures....
Our family pictures. I hope you enjoy them.
Happy Saturday!
