A New Chapter

We made it! After about twenty-seven hours of travel, we made it to our final destination, at least for now.

Hello Andrews, Texas.

The kids did amazingly well the entire time, and I have to say once again I am so proud of them.  Don't get me wrong, traveling with two toddlers is difficult and challenging at times, but I think they did great for their ages.

We left Germany with teary eyes, and lots of beautiful memories. We raveled for hours on end, until we finally made to American soil - our first stop Baltimore, Maryland.  We were so time confused and exhausted when we reached our hotel, thank goodness the kids slept for almost seven hours straight.

We lived the airport life for the rest of the day, finding our gate, camping out on the floor so that the kids can play and just waiting for our flights.

We spend a few more hours in Dallas, and even by this point my little travelers were pretty amazing, even in the middle of a melt down for gummi bears.  They had blast chilling in the huge windows, looking at the planes, and entertaining the crew for our flight.  All I can say by this point we were so ready to be in Midland already - flying is tiring.

I tried to document most of our travels on my phone, it is way easier when in a rush.  Here is some of our journey in pictures.

We finally made it - our new chapter has begun, and of course it needed a picture.  Our first family picture taken right as we stepped of the plane.  Something to commemorate to our new chapter....

So far we have only been received and greeted with hugs, kisses, love, and encouragement.  We are not yet sure were to go from here, and lets face it dealing with jet-lag is our first priority right now.  We are completely at peace with our decision to move here, and know that everything will fall perfectly in place.

For now, we are adjusting, dreaming, and praying it through.

Hopefully by my next post, I will be less tired, and make more sense.

Happy Monday!
