This K-day we indulged in the art of doing nothing but the bare minimal of our responsibilities. We did go to church on Sunday, but started our k-day shenanigans right after, and by shenanigans I mean a Sunday afternoon nap for the little people, followed by a full blown we got sucked into watching 17 kids & counting.
We spent the remainder of Sunday lounging around, snuggling little people, kissing boo boos, and getting involved in so good old sibling rivalry, lets just say that over 60 different Thomas trains to play with is not enough to keep the peace.

Monday rolled around, and we decided that this day we will do nothing. Life gets crazy starting November and it doesn't slow down till after Christmas, and then we had my cousin here, and then I had a cold, we have had no time to just do nothing, enough everyone's company, play, read, nap, and watch TV [yes, we watch time, and shame on the Duggar family for not watching TV but making a reality TV show, and sucking other people into watching it for hours on end].
Our day of doing nothing was successful. We did not house work, no errands, no chores, nothing that we did not enough. We made pizza for lunch, played trains and blocks, read books, put little people down for a nap, and randomly decided we wanted some rice pudding, so we walked down to the little German store to gather all the ingredients - that was a highlight for the kids, the love walks!

Unfortunately we had to leave on the third day of our K-day. It was a big day for our family. Nate and I feel like the Lord is leading us out of the military, and yesterday was the day to submit our separation package, to separate before his enlistment is over. We did it, we submitted it together, he filled in paper work, went through everything while I entertained to little people in the small training room of the fire station. Now we wait, we wait patiently and see what the Lord has in store for our beautiful life.
On our off time, while we just did nothing, we spend lots of time dreaming, and I am excited more then anything for our new adventure in life. People may think that we are crazy, but in the end the Lord will provide.
Happy Wednesday!
PS. Something is up with my camera so the pictures are that great, but it is better then nothing :)
