I Am Back.

My cousin left, sniff sniff.   I am pretty sure he was way ready to leave the moment he arrived, and my normally angelic children turned into little devils, running wild, and there was no way to contain them. To add to the misery, I was the lucky receiver [insert sarcasm] of a nasty cold, and was couch bound for his last four days.  End the end, we did nothing but drink lots and lots of tea, and eating way to many sweet treats.  I didn't even have the energy to take a ton of pictures.

The kids loved him, and was so intrigued by him, more Hayleigh then Ian, she would search him out, and convinced him to play wild Africa animals with him.  It did put a smile on my face.

I finally started to feel better the day after he left [I know that doesn't sound great - but I am not complaining] - the kids and I spend the day getting the house back to normal, we finally took down all the Christmas, caught up on all our laundry, cleaned the house, and had enough time for naps, and reading time.

I wanted to get it all done, so that Ian and I could have a day together today.  I love having one on one time with him, and taking him on little dates.  Hayleigh demands so much of my time, that sometimes I feel so guilty that I don't have that much time with him.

Today it was Ian and I.  He had blast and I could tell he felt so special leaving the house without sister.  We went to the commissary [I am in luck he loves grocery shopping, and we really need food], and then we went to lunch and the movies together.  I had every intention to document our day, but then decided to put away all cameras and have time with him.  Intention time, where we talked during the lunch, he held my hand in the little mall, we went to the book store together, and he even curled up in my lap during the movie, it was such a refreshing time for the two of us.  I think more of these mommy and Ian dates for.

Life is finally getting back to normal, after the holidays and our company, that we should be back to out normal routine and life in the next couple of days.  I promise to take more pictures,

Until then, Happy Wednesday!!
