Happy Fall

It is finally November, and that means it is officially fall in the Cook house.  I generally wait till November to get my fall groove on, otherwise it drags on for to long.

I love love love fall.  I love the change in the air that takes place, the leaves turning colors, the air getting crisp and cool, apples and pumpkins everywhere, and cinnamon.

This year I decided to make a Thankful tree with the kids.  We got crafty and made tree on butcher paper, and everyday for the month of November , the kids will come up with something they are thankful for.  I am so excited for this little project to find the beauty of our daily life in the unexpected places.

Our house is finally filled with fall, we will bake pumpkin bread, finger paint fall trees, make an apple pie, read books while snuggling under warm blanket, and reflect on everything we are thankful for, all the blessings the Lord has poured out on us.

I am excited for all the fall things - from crafts to food, to Thanksgiving!!

Happy November!
