This day started like every other day, I was trying to get everyone ready and anxiously waiting for Nate to get home from work, terrified that we are going to late. Deep breaths, I kept telling myself. Of course nothing went as planned, my hair was a hot mess, because let's face it, I suck a curling my hair, and pretty much doing else but letting it air dry, and using hair clip. I decided screw it, this is me, so smile and wave!!
Nate made it home, and of course as well pulled out of the garage, it started raining, are you kidding me. We are suppose to be taking pictures outside. I was happy to see Jessica ready with umbrella in hand, we are going to take these pictures one way or another. By some miracle the rain stopped long enough for us to take pictures, by the time we got in our cars to leave, it started raining again!!! We were so blessed!!!
Our photographer is my sweet friend Jessica, from Jesse's Girl Photography. I have to hand it to her, she handled my Ian like a pro. I am so impressed, and so grateful for the beautiful pictures we have, Ian is in them, he is happy, having fun, and he is smiling!! That takes talent. Thank you Jessica, for these amazing shots of our family, they all represent us so well.
In the end, we had a blast, waking through a sweet little German village, capturing our live here in Germany. I am going to miss Germany so much.
Our little family have our flaws and our fare share of issues, but we also have each other and that is the most important thing to me. If all else in live family, I am forever grateful for Nate and the kids. They make me happy, they make me smile, and yes sometimes they drive me nuts, but more importantly we love each other.
This is us, we are nerdy, and fun in our own way. We love Jesus, we love doing things as a family, we are home bodies, we love creating things, we love books, and we love each other to the moon and back.
Pictures can speak a 1000 words so I will leave you with that....
Happy Friday!!!
