Hello South Africa

The kids and I finally made it to South Africa a few days ago, after a semi-disastrous beginning in Atlanta.

After a weekend in Atalanta, we hopped onto a direct flight to Johannesburg, and well it was a super long almost sixteen hour flight.  Sometimes I am sad that home is so so far away.

The kids did fantastic (I seriously have the best kids to travel with), even though the adults behind us acted more like children (eye-roll) seriously some people so just stick to not going places.

This didn't last long thanks to those people who sat behind us, but it was nice for the duration it lasted.

It feels super good to be home, and I am so excited to spend this time with my parents - I miss them like crazy all the time.

We will be at my parents house for a few days before we head out on a little trip, so we are trying to kick jet lag to the curb fast.  I am in love with all the adventure that awaits.

I am loving my mom's garden and the fact that is so so peaceful, and teeming with birds and their chirping and singing - nothing makes me happier then waking up to the birds (unless it's a Hadeda - lol)

Happy Thursday! Here is to hoping that the jet lag would evaporate rather quickly!
