{recipe} Chocolate Smoothie

As I have said before a smoothie is my go to breakfast and or snack, and who doesn't want to start their day with a chocolate smoothie?  I love how simple, yet nutritious this whole process is.  The beauty of smoothies? You can pretty much add things you love or have on hand, and or leave the things you don't care for much out.  Sounds like a win to me.

   SIMPLE GREEN SMOOTHIE:
* serves 1 or 2 (depending on if you want share)

2 dates
1/2 banana, frozen
2 tbsp unsweetened cacao powder
2 tbsp almond butter
2 tbsp kefir or plain greek yoghurt
2 brazil nuts
1 tbsp hempseeds
1 tsp bee pollen (local is best)
1/2 tsp camu powder
1 scoop collagen peptides
1 1/2 cups whole milk (or any milk of choice)
handful of ice (optional)

* I recommend using organic/grass-fed/high quality ingredients from reputable companies when feasible.

Place all the ingredients in the blender (this is the blender I own and love.)  Blend until smooth.  Serve right away, in a glass with a straw (I love using these glass straws).
