We went to breakfast with my sweet friend, Kiara, last week. We have know each other since we were five years old. We were neighbors, grew up together, and went to school together.
I haven't seen her in years, and we kind of grew apart for a little while, but after the first time we decided to have coffee and catch up, it is like I never left the country and that just saw each other last week - I love friendships like that.

Isn't she beautiful? |
And a sweet little kitty joined us, how cute is Hayleigh?
I have been so thankful for Kiara the last few weeks. She works for herself - and I love it because she can chunk of squares and come visit the kids and I. How lucky am I? I am going to miss her so much once we leave in a few weeks, but for now - we will just enjoy our time together.
23 year of friendship. |
The kids also had a play date with the kids of two girls I went to school with. Both their kiddos are Hayleigh's age. We had so much fun chit-chatting - while the kids played.
We were suppose to have a pool day - but then the rain came - so we had to improvise. It still worked out perfectly.

We were so lucky and blessed so see my brother one more time for the afternoon at their baby shower.
Can I just say that I can't wait to be an aunt - I am so excited for my sweet little niece to enter this world.
The kids loved seeing their uncle again.
I was a fun afternoon, celebrating the fact that he is going to be a daddy!
I love him so much, even though he drives me crazy at times :)
It was a good week - and we had a great adventure on the weekend - more to come later.
But for now we are going to soak up this day, and enjoy all the last things we can before heading home.
Happy Monday!
