This have been the first weekend in a while that we had no adventurous plans, and it was a nice chance of pace.
On Saturday morning my mom, the kids, and I met up with a high school girlfriend. We have been keeping in touch through Facebook for a few years now, and Hayleigh and her oldest are only two months apart in age.
We met at the cutest little tea garden, with play grounds, gardens, and lots of fun farm animals that you can feed. Willow Feather Farm was such a fun experience, that we might have to work in one more visit before we go home,
We just chit chatted, caught up on life, had some drinks, all while the kids could run and play.
It was so much fun to catch up and to meet her kids, and my kids were happy to have a friend to play with for a few hours.
After our little breakfast, we secured some animal food, so we could go feed and interact with some of the farm animals.

how cute is this? |
And off we went.
The kids loved it so much. I had fun watching them, and taking pictures. They had all sorts of farm animals.
The pigs were a hit, bit of course they smelled awful.
I loved the alpacas, the "fro" is my favourite part.
The goats were the biggest hit, and the funnest to feed.
And these roosters - they are so gorgeous.
And the sheep. They were super cute - but the the fat mama was a little cranky, and kept head budding everyone out of the way.
Guinea pigs and bunnies.
And then the ducks and geese are always (and I MEAN ALWAYS) a hit.
The gardens are so beautiful with flowers, and all sorts of birds - like turkeys, peacocks, and chickens just roaming around.

And how adorable... I love my kiddos.
We had such a fun day in the morning, in the sunshine and fresh air. Thank you Michelle for meeting up, and sharing your boys with us. We enjoyed it so much, and was awesome to catch up.

We spent the rest of the weekend, in and around the swimming pool.
Catching up with a my childhood friend, and her fabulous husband (I am so happy for you Kiara), as well as spending time with my sweet friends, and the kids godparents.
It was such a fun weekend, and I can't believe it will soon be over!
We will be embracing and cherishing our last weeks here.
Happy Wednesday!
