Roses, Food, Family, Farm & A Birthday Celebration

We have had such a busy, yet fun weekend - fitting in last good-byes, little adventures and family time.

We had so much fun.

We went to Ludwig's rose farm with some super awesome friends - we just love them so much.

It was such a neat little place - with a little restaurant and an awesome outside play place for the kids, and beautiful roses - lots and lots of roses, in different shapes, sizes, and colors.  It was so breathtaking.

We had something to drink at the little cafe, while the kids played.

I just love them so much!

I also had my very first rose milk shake - yes you heard that right - and it was delicious!

And we enjoyed lots and lots of roses.

And a certain little girl was in her element!

I just love this girl so much - I wish she lived closer.  She is much fun, and so so so hilarious!!

My parents graciously took the kids home, and I went out to dinner with Louis and Charlotte! It was so lovely - and I got my seafood fix!

We spend the rest of the weekend with family - eating good food, catching up and saying our good-byes.

The kids had so much fun interacting with all the farm animals - it was the sweetest!

The cows had babies - so cute!

  Little sheep.

The sweetest little puppy.

The friendliest donkey - names blommetjie (flower) - my favourite!

The kids favourite - the horses!

So beautiful - it was a blast!

A little dove, that they tamed...

It was so much fun.  The kids really enjoyed it so much.

   ****
We also celebrated my dad's birthday!

It is no secret - I love birthdays so much, and it was special to be here for my dads.

The kids and I made cards, got some cupcakes, and gifts - and the rest is history.

Success.

We got candles - just to make it pretty - he is way older then the amount of candles we used ;)

A little help blowing out the candles.

Happy birthday day, we love you so much!

We are enjoying our almost last week home.  I am getting sadder and sadder as each minute passes.

Happy Wednesday!
