We celebrated Nate's 30th birthday in Hawaii - lucky!
For his birthday instead of gifts this year, we booked an adventure - and the two of us went swimming with the sharks. We did it a week before his birthday,so that we would have enough time to reschedule it should the weather not cooperate - thank goodness it did. We had a blast!
I am usually super organized with birthdays (I love birthdays) bit since we were out of our comfort zone, I had to let it go, and just go with the flow - and it still turned out just fine!
We had a simple cake, surrounded by Nate's sister and her family - and it was perfect!
I totally forgot to buy candles, so this has to do! ha
It was delicious! Even if I have to say so myself!
I am so thankful for another year with Nate, it seems like the storm of moving back to the states have calmed, and we are finally finding our comfortable sweet spot here in West Texas.
He is an incredible father, and a husband, and he makes every single day an adventure.
Happy birthday Nate - here is to many more adventures together, memories stored away, and laughing till we cry!!
