We spend a few days at a little cottage right on the beach, and it was fabulous. With the sweetest view, and a high deck. And a little beach, with pretty much no other people.
The kids were happy because their cousins joined us, and it meant walking down to the beach almost before the crack of dawn to start playing, It was magical.
Lots of swimming and playing.
Lots of reading in the sun. Listening to little people laugh and play.
A bunch of explorations, and great discoveries made.

Taking the paddle boards out, looks easier then it really is. Just saying!
Delicious snacks, and beach side beverages - margaritas.
Picnic style meals under the trees with a gorgeous view.
Late nights on the deck, laughing, chatting, and listening to the ocean, breathing in the salty fresh air. Did I mention I want to move there.
Snorkeling adventures continue...
and the breathtaking scenery, made it so peaceful.
This was the perfect mid-vacation escape. It was very relaxing and peaceful, not rushing to get everything together to get to the beach, and no going going going all day to see everything we want to see.
It was a few days of simply soaking up family, cousins, and nature. Just pure imperfect perfection.
And this beauty is so adventures - fearless really - it is kind of scary - but she is so much fun!
