Our Easter

We had a super low key Easter celebration this year - our weeks have been so full and busy that we didn't feel like anything overboard or to much planning - so I present the Easter of low standards.

The standards are so low that we dyed Easter eggs two days after Easter, and I am so ok with that.

Breakfast as usual is a fun event - even though our attempt at bunny cinnamon rolls - turned our more like Mickey Mouse, they still tasted so delicious!

We had a fun morning together - just the four of us.

We spend the rest of the afternoon with Nate's parents.

Hunting for eggs was first on the agenda.

Followed by delicious carrot cake, and lots of conversation around the table.  Hanging around the table with friends, and family is one of my favourite things to do.

We were served the most delicious dinner, and the kids had plenty of time to play and be spoiled.

Our Easter was extended a little bit, and we finally got around to dying our Easter eggs.

It was so much fun.

They turned out so pretty!  But we still have lots of practice to go before we truly master the art of egg dying!

It was a nice day of just being together, and gratefulness.

I am beyond blessed.

Happy Easter!
