A Little Girl Room

Hayleigh's room is done.

It feels so good to slowly check of the marks of the final steps in the house.  It has been such a long journey, and I hear that it never ends while owning a home.

When we left Germany, she was still technically a baby - her room was set up nursery style, with crib and all.

We stayed with Nate's parents longer then we anticipated, and by the time we finally moved into our house we had to start over with her room, since she was more of a little girl now then a baby.

We went shopping a couple of weeks ago, to get some finishing touches for her room.

I am happy to share the pictures of the room when we first bought the house, and after we stripped it down to the concrete floors, and sheet rock on the walls.

Her room is the smallest of all the bed rooms, but required a little bit more work due to electrical malfunctions for the ceiling fans etc.  We rewired it all, and now everything is working just fine.

I am so in love with the out come - it is the sweetest little girl room, not to overpowering but still girly and cute.

I do love all the little touches, we added to make it more homey, and a little more personal.  Special little memories all over the place.

A little piece of our hearts will always belong here.

Girly stuff!

Takes after her mama! She desperately wanted flowers for her room, she picked them!

I hate chaos! Storage that hides messes is a must in our house!

Lots of cooking happens here.

Beautiful quilt my parents got her for her big bed.

She is so proud of her room.

I love how she plays in it more and more, she is finally starting to sleep in it more and more as well, and overall she just loves being in her own space.  She is growing up so fast, with attitude and all.

It was fun to pick it all out together and for her to have a little voice in deciding.

Isn't my girl so beautiful? Those eyes!

Happy Saturday!
