Ian's room is done.
It is all about time. I am so excited that he has "big" kid room now, and that he so sweetly
helped pick out everything.
I am in love how is all turned out. A little boy room, not to corny, but not to big either.
I am happy to finally share the pictures of his room when we first bought the house, to everything we have done so far.
Like the rest of the house we pulled up the carpet, painted the walls, scraped off popcorn ceiling, replaced the ceiling fan, put down new baseboards, changed the wall plugs, light switched, and changed the doors, and organization unit in the closet.
It has been so much work, but so rewarding.
I love how Ian loves his room, I think besides for the living room (only because the TV is in there) his room is his favourite. It makes me happy, that he loves it so much and that it is safe place for him.

I love all the little touches to make it more personal, and unique.
 |
Old dresser with a new coat of paint. |
 |
This boy still loves his cars and trucks. |

Saving to by more Legos. |
 |
Books and storage! |
 |
His favourite thing to do. |
 |
He picked this out all by himself. |

A huge piece of our hearts - right here!! We miss South Africa. |
He is so proud of his room.
He loves playing in his room. Also for the first time in the history of Ian's life - he has been sleeping all night long without freaking out. It started the first night in this house, and has just gotten better and better as we finished his room.
I love how it portrays his goofy personality, and how important he felt making "big" decisions for his own space.
Isn't he so handsome? I love this kid!
Happy Thursday!
