I can't believe we just celebrated another one of Nate's birthday, we met when I was eighteen and a couple of months later her turned twenty-one, and here we are so many years later.
The kids and I did our usual, we baked a cake together. This year I did hid all the gifts from them, and wrapped it during a nap time, my kids are terrible at keeping secrets.
Nate wanted a carrot cake.
We spend the day doing whatever Nate wanted to do, which wasn't much, and it was perfect. Sweet snuggles with the kids, taking care of some things he wanted to take care of, watching The Blacklist, and eating lots of cake. Also we are so happy to be on our own house, that we just want to stay home these days!
So happy birthday to my man! I am so grateful to be able to celebrate another birthday with you. Another year of your beautiful life as an incredible husband and father. You are such a great example to the kids and I.
We truly cherish each year with you. And this new adventure of ours is finally starting to take my breath away, we are settling in, we have routine, and the four of us are going to make it.
