Our Easter

I am a little late in posting about out Easter, but we are still working on unpacking and finishing the renovations, living there and working there is no joke, but oh so rewarding, and we are getting much more done, with way less frustration.

This Easter reminded me of our Easter way back in 2012 when we just moved into our second house in Germany, and we had Easter in a "bare house" with our sweet Ian and my pregnant belly.

I was so happy to wake up on Easter Sunday, and roll out of bed in my own house, quietly going to the kitchen to make some tea, and hearing little feet following me on wood floors.  It was so perfect, combined with the fact that I feel so undeserving, yet blessed with our beautiful house.

I am thankful for the real reason of Easter, and the fact that Jesus died on the cross for me, and He has blessed us so much.

I had a little more planned, but of course am an overachiever and had to let go of some stuff, so we did the best we could with what we had, and what we could find in boxes.  The kids of course didn't care about the fine details of everything, they are just grateful for the thoughts.

Our Easter in pictures.

The kids got their baskets with little necessities for our new house. Also excuse the Christmas jammies, it is all I could find after bath the previous night.  Don't judge me :)

Hunting Easter eggs, was super exciting and it gets better and better every single year.

We finally went home, and then did our annual Easter egg dying,  It was a little modge podge, since I don't know where everything is, (we have boxes everywhere) but it was the idea that count, and we actually had a bunch of fun.  I love my kids, they are so much fun.

Happy Easter!!

Once we get our internet I will be able to update better, right now I am with my gracious friend, doing some laundry (my laundry room should be done next week), leeching on her internet, and she even made me tea!! I love her!!!

Till we settle in a little!!

Happy Friday!
