Our small things in pictures.
#1 Afternoon ice-cream picnics.
My kids love ice cream and we don't have a lot of sweet things in our house, oupa and ouma's house have been a sweet treat. Nothing like eating delicious ice-cream on a warm and sunny afternoon. Oh, and I also realized I said picnic and both kids are sitting on chair, use your imagination!

#2 Flowers
I love flowers, even if it is the scraps that someone handed my kids at a market to give to their mama. It always make me smile.
#3 Sidewalk chalk.
I love the weather, and the fact that we can be outside 98% of the time. We draw and draw for hours on all the bricks all around the house. The kids love making marks all over the place.
#4 Beautiful skies.
Such a change for Germany!! Good bye gray and sunless sky, and hello beautiful blue skies. Just looking at the sky puts a smile on my face!
#5 Adopted grandma/aunt, who spoil us.
Nothing like being spoiled by someone who loves you. We love this lady!
#5 Rice pudding.
Who doesn't like rice pudding. What an awesome little treat. You can find the recipe here.
#6 Rainy afternoon tea party.
One of the kids favourite things - having a tea party. We have had some rain showers accompanied by thunder, and in my books that is the perfect time to have an impromptu tea party. Everyone is happy. and that means mama is happy.
#7 Farm yard fun..
This has become a favourite for us, I love watching the kids set it all up, look at me and tell me what animals they are placing where. Hayleigh has leaned so much from her brother, and I love watching her grow. Ian didn't want to be in the pictures this time.
#8 Fancy icing drinks.
Well actually this is nothing fancy, but it is something icy in the heat. I love ice, and sprucing it up a little, hey sometimes I pretend to be an adult.
#9 Chocolate molds.
Chocolate is good all the time, but making it into shapes that make you happy is even better. We had a blast creating these, now we get to eat them. Not all at once though. I don't have pictures of the making process since little hands and liquid chocolate is not the best combination.
#10 Reading books..
What a shocker. We love reading, and it is even better to do, while you listen to the thunder rumble, and the rain pour down. We miss our library at home the most.
Excited for the weekend. My grandma arrives on Saturday for the next week.
Happy Friday!
